History of Mark

Gülüm oil is a product that was brought about after the Marketing’s initiation of market research at the end of 2007 and responds to the consumer demand. For the first time a recipe with the use of world cuisine’s best tasting ingredients that respond to the consumer demand was applied to the product. Packaging of the product was also divided into two different categories, one for each of sunflower oil and corn oil. Gülüm is the first local product that Azersun Holding introduced to the Azerbaijan’s soft oil market. The consumer group is made up of a group of older middle-age, mature woman and mothers, with an age range of 25 to 40, of families that are open to innovations, enjoy cooking, try to bring the best to the table, and who take cooking seriously.

Production

Bakı Yağ Fabriki has a broad production sphere. Production of Teksun, Final, Super Sun, Paşa, Aysun oils, which conquered most of the markets of the world, began in Baku in 1996. Reconstruction works at Bakı Yağ Fabriki and upgrading of equipment to meet up-to-date requirements laid basis for that.

High quality edible oils are produced here by “no touching” technology. Technological equipment purchased from the USA, Italy and France are used at the plant. Up-to-date deodorization and ventilation systems were installed. This new system does not harm the environment and guarantees production of the highest quality vegetable oils. Soft and vegetable oils of the plant complying with the highest standards received awards and diplomas of various countries, won many exhibitions and contests.
